July 21, 2026Construction is underway on an intimate tent house safari glamping retreat in Africa built on a simple philosophy: guests should be truly immersed in the wild, not merely spectators of it. Here, the wild comes to you.
The retreat's handcrafted tent house suites are positioned to maximise seclusion and sight-lines, so that the African landscape becomes each guest's garden and constant companion — from the first coffee on the veranda to the last sounds before sleep. Canvas walls, open skies, and Africa all around.
To bring this vision to life, the project combines three Tent House models from Plus Glamping, each serving a distinct role in the guest journey.
The Suites: Tent House X5 — Single & Couple Suites
The X5 forms the heart of the accommodation. Its graceful, elegant arc and natural wood tones create a calm, refined feel. Each X5 has a private veranda and en-suite bathroom — an intimate hideaway for one or two guests.
For Families: Tent House G7 — Family Suites
For larger groups, the G7 pairs two separate bedroom units under a broad, elegant roof, connected by a large communal covered area. Two bathrooms, a kitchen, and generous shared space make it a genuine family suite: privacy when wanted, togetherness when it matters.
The Gathering Place: Tent House XM2 — Reception & Restaurant Hall
Anchoring the glamping retreat is the XM2, a commercial-grade multi-function hall. With a spacious interior space and a high apex, it serves as the retreat's reception and restaurant — a place where guests arrive, dine, and gather, without ever leaving the canvas-and-open-sky experience.
Built for the African Climate
All three models share the same engineering foundation: a 1050g PVDF architectural membrane roof, 850g thermal insulation fabric, canvas composite wall systems, and anti-corrosion coated steel frames (⌀80x4mm) rated for wind resistance up to force 9, operating temperatures from -30°C to +60°C, and a design lifespan of up to 15–20 years — performance built for the demands of an African safari environment.
